All motorhomes come with an awning as standard, outdoor seats and tables, and outdoor cooking facilities. Most have outdoor games for the kids and a selection of indoor games for the adults – board games, nothing else….
The choice of motorhomes available to hire in 2008 include a superb selection of both high-spec and luxurious motorhomes including one of the UK’s premier motorhome manufacturers – Auto Trail Apache700SE – an award winner in its class, the UK supplied and award-winning Autoquest 180’s and the stunningly luxurious Italian manufactured Roller Team Pegaso (Garage Living). We also have the ultimate in touring motorcycles available for hire – the Honda Goldwing Aspencade 1500cc.
For more details on these vehicles, please go to the relevant tab, but read the rest of this message first, merely to inform your decisions.
Because we are a small and innovative company who strive to provide the best motorhomes for holidays, we can justify the luxury of choosing the right selection of vehicles for our customers, not just the cheap and basic vehicles available by other’s, but vehicles that were ordered with a host of additions, that are either luxurious, highly spec’d or the most spacious and comfortable motorhomes available. We pride ourselves that we offer an outstanding range of motorhomes, and motorcycles, to choose from.
All of our motorhomes are four and six berth models with many extras that are not standard with other hirers, and are all at extremely competitive rates and without VAT charges.
They are all modern (2006 – 2008 models), well equipped with many additional features such as awnings, sunroofs, additional leisure batteries, some with winter fittings, flyscreens, Sat-Nav systems in all, evening entertainment systems, etc.
We supply all crockery, glassware, kitchen utensils, digital entertainment systems (Radio, TV and DVD systems) together with 7” hand held colour TV units when you are out of the motorhome, children’s safety seats – if required, outdoor tables and chairs, fresh and clean towels, pillows and pillow-cases, in fact everything that you will need on a holiday in Scotland or elsewhere in Europe for your ideal enjoyment and satisfaction.
Safety is our number one priority, and all of our motorhomes are equipped as standard with fire and gas alarms, fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, spare bulbs, warning triangle, all weather torches and fluorescent jackets. Most motorhomes have driver’s airbag, ABS or assisted ABS, and some are fitted with all round disc brakes.
In addition, all of our motorhomes are inspected yearly and have current Gas Safety and Habitation Certificates, are serviced at the specified service intervals and any potential defects are remedied immediately. We have an unblemished safety record and will constantly strive to monitor and improve the safety of all occupants using our vehicles.
The Roller Team Pegaso Garage Living is a truly, truly luxurious 4 berth 2008 model, equipped to the highest standards available for motorhome hire in the UK at this time (at this cost).
It has cream coloured leather embossed interior seating both on the (turn-around) drivers and passenger seats and on both of the curvaceous lounge sofas, with a spacious central galley with large fridge/freezer/microwave/oven and grill/fixed-hobs, with a fixed bed at the rear and a hydraulic overhead drivers - cab bed. Both fixed and non-fixed sleeping areas will sleep a minimum of 4 adults – although there are additional spaces available for sleeping children (up to 7 years of age).
The exterior of this motorhome is one of the most modern and stylish designs in current motorhome design, with smooth flowing curved lines with distinctively shaped panels. It is curvaceous both in the interior and exterior of the motorhome – see the pictures. It is a left hand drive model (as it is not produced in the UK to this spec) built upon the new Fiat Ducato chassis (as per the specifications of the Auto-Trail Apache).
The interior of the motorhome has a true feel of quality throughout, with rounded overhead lockers and built-in overhead TV monitor, high grade wood finishings, luxury kitchen, toilet and shower, with almost every electrical appliance required for your convenience.
The vehicle is fitted with winterized components and can be used in Temperatures down to -5c, sufficient for a moderate Scottish winter. There are not many winterized motorhomes available for hire that are winterized for UK winter weather.
As the title of this motorhome suggests (Garage Living), it comes with a very large internal garage/compartment (under the rear fixed bed), spacious enough for holding disabled wheelchairs, scooters or motorbikes together with a host of outdoor equipment.
This version of the Pegaso is only available in left hand drive mode, and is not available as a RHD model in the UK or anywhere-else.
This is both a unique and stunning, luxury motorhome available for hire to people who want that bit more quality on their travelling holidays.
The Auto-Trail Apache 700 SE is a 6-berth 2006 model and comes with higher specifications than most rental vehicles currently on the hire market. It’s specifications include a superb driving compartment (electric windows. mirrors and built-in Sat Nav), full cooking and dining area (for 4 adults) at the front, together with a comfortable wrap-around seated rear lounge/dining area at the rear that can accommodate an additional 5 adults, onboard toilet and separate shower room, full gas or electric blown air heating system, double glazed windows, night blinds throughout with both upper and lower-shelf lighting systems for creating the right ambient mood.
The Apache has a wide range of additional features including TV/ DVD, Radio/CD Player/MP3 player, colour reversing camera and drivers monitor, full cooking facilities (4 ring hob mounted on work surface), large fridge/freezer, outdoor awning with outdoor tables and chairs.
The stunning looks of the Apache together with the contemporary design of the interior, coupled to the new Fiat Ducato chassis with 2.8L diesel engine, combine to offer a first class experience of travel to the highest specification.
The Autoquest 180’s are 6-berth 2008 models (ordered for March 2008) and are similarly equipped to a very high standard. They are similar in style to the Apache (described above) with a front 4 person dining area, full kitchen facilities, middle toilet/shower area, and wrap-around seating/dining area at the rear. The Autoquests have a hydraulic piston assisted overhead cab bed that allows it to be pushed into the roof space to allow for greater freedom of movement in the main central living area of the motorhome. In addition we have fitted a large Heiki roof-window to allow a lot more light into the motorhomes central area that it will allow it to be light, spacious and comfortable for all users.
In the interior, they are fitted out with thick sprung furnishings in a modern red and gold livery. All of the wood finishings are of maple and ash. A fully equipped galley with three burner hob, and grill and oven, together with a large fridge/freezer offer all culinary requirements for a small or large group. TV/DVD, dash mounted Radio/CD player, Sat Nav, Truma blown air central heating, large toilet and shower room, large outdoor awning and outdoor tables and chairs. There are six 3-point safety belts fitted to the vehicle – more than most other hire motorhomes.
Built on the new Peugeot Boxer wider bodied chassis with a 2.2L HDI diesel engine, it features driver’s airbag, assisted ABS and disc brakes all round. This is a comfortable, spacious and well appointed motorhome that will suit the requirements for all sizes of family to travel about in style.
The Honda Goldwing 1500cc Aspencade Motorcycle is probably the ultimate touring motorcycle.
It’s got great power, unequalled cargo space in the top box and two side panniers, a sophisticated audio system with plug in MP3 player capability, variable suspension and ventilation systems – both through the windshield (if hot) and warm blown air to feet (if cold), King and Queen seating with quad speakers to provide the sound and other unique features to provide maximum convenience and comfort. It has been thoughtfully upgraded by all of its owners and is now a stunning and head turning example of the genre. It is black in colour with enough chrome extras to make this a visually pleasing, head-turning motorcycle. It has a set of lighting features, operated by thumb on the right handlebar, that operate a range of lighting functions at night – several different lighting configurations. Full details can be found on the Motorcycles Tab. (Please note, that only experienced riders can hire the Goldwing, as due to the equipment onboard, it is a very heavy machine).
In addition (for both motorhomes and motorcycles):
We can arrange extras such as
- airport pick-up (at a small additional charge, to Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick or Edinburgh International airports) and offer
- (free*) car storage at our home location – (see Rates page for airport drop-offs and pick-ups rates).
* at owners responsibility (although we are situated in a rural location with a very low crime rate).
We are located 8 miles south of Hamilton in Lanarkshire, near to the M74 motorway (30 miles south of Glasgow and 90 miles north of Dumfries), near J9 on the M74. We are aprox 35 miles distant from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Prestwick airports.

We will supply everything required on a motorhome holiday including a fully serviced and safe vehicle (including both Gas and Habitation checks yearly), entertainment systems, all crockery, glassware and tableware as well as safety equipment. All vehicles have awnings and will be supplied with outdoor tables and chairs, and in some instances – outdoor cooking facilities. We always supply dishcloths and basic foodstuffs as standard. We will always supply CO2 alarms in all motorhomes.
Unfortunately, we have to make a small charge of £5 for individual sleeping bags or duvets and bedding (sheets (double) -£3) – to cover cleaning costs.
We have to apply a mileage charge when 800 miles is exceeded. 800 miles is more than enough to explore all of the nooks and crannies of Scotland. In excess of this mileage we apply £5 per 100 miles exceeded. So even if you explore the deepest crannies, it will only be £10 for an extra 200 miles of travel.
We are always available for e-mails or telephone calls regarding any questions or queries that you have prior to or during your holiday.
Please feel free to telephone or e-mail.
