We are a small family enterprise (mainly Charlie and Anne Cairns and a few others) situated about 35 miles south of Glasgow and near to the M74 Motorway, ideally situated for connections and pick-ups/drop-offs to Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh International airports which are all approximately one hours drive away, as well as drivers to our location that is just over an hours drive from the Scotland/England border on the M74.
Location: We are just over 1 hrs drive north of the Scotland/England border (75 miles away – northwards from Carlisle and Gretna). When you reach Junction 10 (Northbound) on the M74, you are only 3 miles away from our location. We supply detailed text to get you to our location without any problems.
Because we are a small and innovative company who strive to provide the best motorhomes for holidays (duplicated on the home-page of this website for this paragraph only), we can justify the luxury of choosing the right selection of vehicles for our customers, not just the cheap and basic vehicles available by other’s, and who charge VAT, but vehicles that were ordered with a host of additions (awnings, roof windows, electrical fittings, weatherized components etc.), that are either luxurious, highly spec’d or the most spacious and comfortable motorhomes that we can provide.
We pride ourselves that we offer a truly outstanding range of motorhomes, and motorcycles, to choose your holiday from.
It is our purpose to provide high specification accommodation in vehicles suitable for your holiday in Scotland or further afield and that we will, in addition, provide the following enhanced service:
- That SAFETY is our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY for all of our customers and their guests, and that all vehicles will have current gas safety and habitation certificates, be fully serviced on or before the manufacturers recommended service intervals, have current MOT certificates (where applicable), all safety defects will be remedied when known or should be detected, that we will fit additional internal gas alarms to all of our vehicles, have first aid kits as well as internal fire extinguishers and provide safety equipment in the event of breakdowns (yellow fluorescent jackets, outdoor torches, replacement vehicle lighting bulbs, warning triangles).
- That all vehicles are selected to provide superior or luxurious accommodation for a rewarding holiday experience.
- That all vehicles are provided to the highest standards of preparation, presentation and cleanliness.
- That all vehicles will be equipped with all required equipment for a family holiday, and more.
- That all vehicles will have either full UK or EU breakdown insurance applicable to all persons within the vehicle.
- That we will strive to provide the best before, during and after-sales service, to answer all questions beforehand, to provide advice and assistance, and to resolve any queries after the hire. We will be available from 9am – 11pm every day for questions, queries or any problems.
In the event of mishaps or damage caused to the vehicle, to obtain repairs to both ours and your satisfaction at the lowest price available in this locality that will provide a satisfactory repair, for a suitable resolution.
The Honda Goldwing is the ultimate touring motorcycle anywhere in the world. It will be fully serviced and ready to roll at the best level that we can offer, and will come with all of the equipment as advertised and more if you want (play your MP3 music while touring?). Trial runs are encouraged under the terms of the hire insurance policy or bikers own policy (– if stringent enough) or via negotiation with owner.
Our safety record is unblemished to date and we strive to continue this and intend to keep it this way as long as possible … We will always continue to improve on safety wherever possible.
No vehicles have ever been interfered with in any way while left at our location – due mainly to our rural location – three miles out from a Village. We are not complacent and have added additional security measures (Lighting and PIR’s) to augment security and plan more measures in this regard and will continue to monitor the security of vehicles left at our location.
