All prices (except motorcycle hire) include the full vehicle hire costs, fresh towels, pillows and pillow cases, breakdown insurance and all equipment offered with vehicle.
Insurance is additional and dependant on drivers experience/convictions/recent accident record etc and starts at £20 per day (£140 per week).
All vehicles will be supplied fully fuelled with 1 x bottle of Gas. All vehicles should be returned in the same condition, as per the Terms and Conditions of Hire.
As we are flexible for start and finish dates and hours of hire, weekend hires can only be accommodated when we have gaps during the season, and will not be available during the peak season ( 8 May – 10 September), unless we have availability.
A security deposit of £500 will be required for all motorhome and motorcycle hires. This will be returned to the customer after the hire if there is no damage to the vehicle.
There are many excesses applied by the motorhome vehicle hire insurance company used and a few of these attract the following excess charges:
Every additional driver (max 3): 25% loading (e.g. £5 per day)
All current points on any drivers licence will attract excess insurance charges e.g. 25% loading applied per day extra for each - SP30 points. For other convictions still current on drivers licence, a full quotation must be obtained beforehand).
For foreign travel (in EU only): an additional 50% of full driver’s insurance quotation will apply. Travel in the UK including Ireland will not attract any foreign travel supplement.
Insurance excesses are applied by the hire insurance companies for certain occupations (jewellery merchants, publicans, market traders, dancers, transit workers) etc. so we will require full particulars of drivers before quoting on insurance matters.
Pets (maximum 2) are allowed in the Auto Trail Apache and Autoquest 180 at a payment of £30 per pet per hire (due to extended cleaning costs). For any extra costs associated with pets, then that additional charge will be passed on to the hirer including any (pet) damage caused.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any of our motorhomes, and no pets are allowed to travel in the Pegaso.
